Thank you so much for your kind donation to Trinity’s Garden Appeal. 

We have just opened our new inpatient centre which has been built to provide a beautiful environment where patients will have large bedrooms with ensuite facilities and where their families can come and stay.  £5 million has been raised of the £6 million fundraising target.  Most of this money has come from people in the community who have understood this need to provide modern facilities.

But Trinity is not just about the building.  It’s about creating an environment where Trinity can also extend its services and provide care to more people.  The inpatient centre is no longer somewhere where people come right at the end of their lives.  Over 40% of patients go home again after receiving respite care or come in for short periods for symptom control.  The new build also offers Trinity the chance to change and expand its outpatient services so that patients can come and use our extensive services.

Our care is free for everyone.  Over this year, 2000 people will have been cared for by us, and their families will have access to our bereavement services for as long as they need it.

Your gift really does make a difference.  The government only provide one third of the costs.  So we exist because of all the donations we receive each year.
