“Volunteering at Trinity enriched my life” says Paula

"I live and work locally and when I realised what wonderful work Trinity does I volunteered my help." That was ten years ago and today Paula who is a communications specialist and something of a global adventurer is still actively involved in helping Trinity.

She says, “Trinity is a huge part of my life. Spending a couple of hours a week just sitting talking to patients, you can see what a huge relief it is for them to have such wonderful care and expertise. Some arrive distressed, anxious and confused but the truly positive environment here changes that. Trinity is not a sad place, it’s a genuinely peaceful and pleasant sanctuary. It’s such a positive place that is about looking after the living not looking after the dying.”

Paula has sailed around the world, paddled hundreds of miles through jungles and conquered daunting mountain peaks but she says: “Trinity has enriched me and I will do everything I can to help it continue its amazing work."

Paula is part of our volunteering team which is always looking for others to share their time, care and experience.
