Food and refreshments
Food
You can have a breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit juice any time you like. We also offer a range of hot meals which, again, you can have whenever you like. We have hot puddings as well as ice cream, jelly and yoghurts. Your visitors can have a hot meal for a small charge.
The inpatient nurses or healthcare assistants will discuss with you what you would like to eat each day. We can be very flexible so if you change your mind during the day that’s not a problem.
If you have any special dietary requirements please do let us know. You may be vegetarian, vegan, diabetic or require halal or kosher food. None of this will be a problem and we can either supply it ourselves or make arrangements with external caterers.
Coffee lounges and refreshments
We have large coffee lounges on both floors with a supply of different teas and coffees which you and your visitors are welcome to enjoy any time, day or night.
In the ground floor coffee lounge there is a large table where you and your visitors are welcome to eat meals together, sit and chat or play cards or board games. We hope that you will relax and use both the coffee lounges as you would your own home.
You are very welcome to drink alcohol but please check with the inpatient nurses just in case it has an effect on your medication. We have stocks of beer, wine, sherry, whisky and gin and you are welcome to bring in your own drinks which can be kept in your fridge or in the cupboard in your room.
