How do I access inpatient care at Trinity?

Talk to your GP, district nurse or practice nurse. If you are in hospital, ask to talk to a member of the hospital’s palliative care team or your medical consultant or a member of the ward nursing team.

If you are already being supported by Trinity’s home care or outpatient team, talk to a member of that team.

You can also phone us directly on 020 7787 1000 and talk to our Inpatient Centre Manager, Clinical Director or Admissions Co-ordinator about inpatient care. You are very welcome to visit our inpatient centre before making any decision.

Who is inpatient care for?

There may be circumstances when spending some time at Trinity as an inpatient might benefit you. You might, for example, have difficult symptoms that we can help get under control enabling you to return home feeling more comfortable. Your illness might be at an advanced stage. Your family, friends or carers may benefit from a short break. You may require some rehabilitation to enable you to continue to live independently.

Do I have to live in a certain area to use Trinity’s inpatient centre?

Our inpatient care is available to people living in the boroughs of Lambeth, Wandsworth, Kingston, Richmond and Twickenham, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster. If you live outside this area but would like to use our inpatient centre – it may, for example, be close to your family and friends – then please call us on 020 7787 1000 to discuss your situation.
