Christmas treat for Trinity Hospice
Posted on: 23 Dec 2011
Patients and staff at Trinity Hospice have something extra to look forward to this Christmas – a slap-up festive lunch thanks to the cooking skills in the kitchen at The Clapham North pub.
Chef Simon Louca is pulling together the gourmet treat for inpatients who will spend Christmas at Trinity. And the nurses and staff providing specialist end of life care can also enjoy turkey and all the trimmings.
The Clapham North, which is the flagship pub in the Livelyhood group of South London bars and restaurants, has been an active supporter of Trinity in 2011.
“The local business community has continued to be a great support to Trinity this year and this is a lovely Christmas gesture,” said Sheena Oughton, one of Trinity’s fundraising team.
“On Christmas Day the work doesn’t stop at Trinity – our nurses will be caring for patients in Clapham and if needed our community nurses are on call to care for many more patients in their own homes across south, west and central London.”
