Trinity is a local charity and without the loyal and generous support of our community we simply would not exist. We rely on your contributions to continue providing expert end of life care completely free of charge, to over 2,000 patients and their families each year.

Without your support we simply couldn’t continue the work we do, caring for dying people and their families.
You can raise vital funds for Trinity in any way you choose. Whether you are fundraising in memory of a loved one or simply supporting your local hospice, you can hopefully have some fun too! Any amount you raise makes a real difference and will help the people we support to live every moment, for whatever time they have left.

Our supporters have held events ranging from coffee mornings and cake sales to fashion shows and extravagant dances. No event is too small or too large and every penny really does count.
How your gift helps
At any one time we support up to 450 dying people and their families. Here’s how your support helps us to care for more people:

£50 will buy a clothing kit for a Trinity Community Nurse

£100 will pay for the training of a Trinity volunteer, who will provide practical help and emotional support to patients in their own home

£150 will buy 2 weeks worth of clinical disposables for one of our nurses working in the community

£200 pays for one day of expert nursing care

£750 pays for a syringe driver, providing continuous, effective pain relief
-
£1,000 pays for a week of physiotherapy to help our patients maintain their strength, mobility and independence
-
£2,500 will sponsor a Trinity Community Nurse for 2 weeks

Freddie's top fundraising tips
Freddie’s father was cared for by Trinity in the final stages of his life.
Freddie decided he wanted to give something back to Trinity so he and his friend Richard decided to raise funds by taking part in an extreme challenge ‘The Mongol Rally’, an international car rally which saw the pair driving over 12,000 miles from the UK to Mongolia, taking in 15 different countries in only six weeks. The pair raised an impressive £10,000 through sponsorship.
Here are his tried and tested tips!
- Start by asking your family and friends for sponsorship, they will always be your most generous supporters.
- Tell people why Trinity is so important for our community and what it means to you.
- Set yourself a target amount that you would like to reach; this will help to motivate you.
- Set up an online fundraising page on Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving. It’s an easy and secure way for people to sponsor you and you can write a bit about yourself and your challenge, as well as putting up some photos!
