The expert care Trinity gives to patients and families simply would not be possible without the extraordinary support we receive from our local community – individuals, companies, pubs, clubs, churches, schools and groups of all kinds.
While our patient and family services are free, we receive just 36% of our income from the NHS. This means we rely on our community to help us raise more than £6 million each year. This is an enormous challenge and we are hugely grateful to our community for the tremendous loyalty you show us and the remarkable things you do to raise funds for us.
Support from our community doesn’t stop at funding. Volunteers work in all areas of Trinity from helping out at mealtimes in our Inpatient Centre to driving patients, fundraising, maintaining our gardens and manning our 21 retail shops.
Our 540 volunteers give around 45,000 hours of their time each year and we appreciate every minute.
