British 10k - Sunday 19th July

This year the B10K will take place on Sunday 12th July 2009.  It is a fantastic race right through the heart of central London, passing many of the capital’s famous landmarks. This is the fourth year we have had a team in the British 10k and we are very excited about this event. It would be great to see some of you running for Trinity!

Taking part in an event such as the British 10k is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for us and we will support you every step of the way by providing sponsorship forms, details of our online donation service, a 10km training planner and advice on fundraising.

The British10k race takes place in the centre of London.  You will get the opportunity to run on many of the world’s most famous streets, including Piccadilly, St. James’s, Pall Mall, Victoria Embankment and Westminster Bridge, before finishing on Whitehall, just past Downing Street.  The atmosphere on the day is incredible with lots of people lining the race route to cheer you on until the end.

We have a limited number of guaranteed entries for this race, so if you would like to run as part of Team Trinity please complete the registration form and to return with a £25 deposit to reserve each place.  This will be refunded by request if you reach the minimum sponsorship target of £150 by 1st September 2009.  Once I have received your application form and £25 deposit I will be able to enter you in the race and send you Team Trinity running vest and fundraising pack.

Over a Hundred Artists… Over a thousand works of art…

Summer is here and it is time to enjoy art in the open air. For the eighth year running the residents of Josephine Avenue (Brixton, London) will be transforming their sleepy, tree lined street into a bustling art fair. With over a hundred photographers, printers and painters exhibiting this is a show not to be missed. Works range in price from over £1,000 to under £50, and with free entry this truly is an affordable event for all art lovers, whatever their budget.

On Sunday the 19th July this event will be raising money for Trinity Hospice. This is a fun event for people of all ages, with various food stalls and hopefully lots of sunshine! If you have some blank space on your wall that needs covering, why not head over to Urban Art 2009.
