Festive Singing From Trinity Supporters

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

Several groups of singers will be raising their voices – and funds for Trinity Hospice – during the festive season and we hope you will be able to go along and support one or all of them.

On Monday, December 15 around 30 members of The Fulham & Hammersmith Choral Society will be singing Christmas carols at Hammersmith tube station, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

On the same day, the ‘Fun Raisers’ – a group of London ladies –  will be singing traditional Christmas Carols in the ticket office area of Clapham Junction station from 5.45pm until 7.15pm.

A little later in the week, on December 17, Trinity Hospice will benefit from a concert, featuring Laura Mayhew (soprano) and Julius Drake (piano), at St. Olave’s Church, Hart Street, London EC3. Starting at 7.30pm, the concert will include works by Brahms, Hugo Wolf, Donizetti and Villa-Lobos.

Tickets, costing £10 each, are available on the door or, in advance, by contacting Laura Morgan on 020 8255 7262 or lauramorgan@talktalk.net

Sisters & Sirens in Cork Street

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

Trinity were the lucky beneficiaries of a beautiful evening held at The Gallery in Cork Street recently. Artwork from the ‘Sisters & Sirens’ was on display and a percentage of sales on the evening was kindly donated to Trinity.

The artists were three sisters – Annabel Ridley, Olivia Pethybridge and Cecilia Scott, and the Sirens were Julia Timewell and Minnie MacHale. You can find out more about Cecilia, who paints commissioned portraits, and Julia by visiting their websites:

Cecilia Scott – www.ceciliascott.com

For information on the other artists, please call Laura Williams on 020 7787 1054. Trinity would like to thank the Sisters & Sirens for their support.

Have you ever wanted to go to Cuba, China, Peru or Costa Rica, and many more? Or maybe climb Kilimanjaro?

Trinity Hospice have teamed up with some excellent travel and adventure providers to offer you an amazing range of exciting trips and challenges, overseas or nearer to home, at lots of different times of the year!

The trips are a great way to get fit, meet new people, do something you have always wanted – and all for a great cause. There are different levels of difficulty so something to suit all ages and stages.

For each trip there is a minimum fundraising target to cover the cost of the trip and a donation to Trinity. Alternatively, you can opt to pay for the trip yourself and raise as much as you can with no particular target.

The adventure providers we have worked with are listed below – just click to go through to their websites where you can find out plenty more on any trip you are interested in:
