Festive Singing From Trinity Supporters
Thursday, December 11th, 2008Several groups of singers will be raising their voices – and funds for Trinity Hospice – during the festive season and we hope you will be able to go along and support one or all of them.
On Monday, December 15 around 30 members of The Fulham & Hammersmith Choral Society will be singing Christmas carols at Hammersmith tube station, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
On the same day, the ‘Fun Raisers’ – a group of London ladies – will be singing traditional Christmas Carols in the ticket office area of Clapham Junction station from 5.45pm until 7.15pm.
A little later in the week, on December 17, Trinity Hospice will benefit from a concert, featuring Laura Mayhew (soprano) and Julius Drake (piano), at St. Olave’s Church, Hart Street, London EC3. Starting at 7.30pm, the concert will include works by Brahms, Hugo Wolf, Donizetti and Villa-Lobos.
Tickets, costing £10 each, are available on the door or, in advance, by contacting Laura Morgan on 020 8255 7262 or lauramorgan@talktalk.net
